Dorothy Zolandz founded D-Z Impact to strengthen communities by strengthening non-profits. She has thirty years of experience in non-profit leadership, and extensive experience in consensus building and working in mixed staff/volunteer environments, She helps non- profit leaders increase results for those they serve by increasing the capacity of existing staff and volunteers to think, learn, and act as a strategic team.

Her approach involves partnership with her clients, jointly examining roles, processes and relationships in the context of mission and goals. She helps teams sharpen strategies, unstick processes, and clarify and coordinate roles and responsibilities. In doing so, she also builds their capacity to be a strategic team. She is particularly known for her facilitation skills and her ability to guide groups to consensus.

In her career as a non-profit manager and executive, she consistently achieved improvements in operational effectiveness, performance, and efficiency, driving gains in revenue, growth, and partnerships with a variety of stakeholders in the public and private sectors. In addition, she has experience working with and serving as a member of both fiduciary and advisory boards.
